It seems we are still on schedule for releasing a web version AND much improved practicing experience for students in November!  Meanwhile, enjoy learning about this little-known feature in MetaPractice!

As teachers, there are many goals we find ourselves assigning frequently, such as goals like begin, memorize, secure, etc.  MetaPractice offers a way to quickly assign these kinds of goals with a couple taps.  Simply long-press the Add Goal button, and you will see the following screen:

Notice that there is a “Manage goals” option at the top – use this to add, delete or re-order the goals on this screen.

It might not seem worthwhile to have goals such as “do” or “fix” on this list, but notice they are set as Once goals, so this saves the trouble of having to define goal type options for these goals.  When you define your own goals in the Quick Goals library, all of the advanced goal settings you define for each goal will be saved in the goal as well.

If you enjoyed learning about this feature, be sure to set aside some time and watch the tutorial videos on MetaPractice.net.  There is no better way to find out just how powerful and robust MetaPractice is.
